Atticus seems to develop and grow each time we see him. He is currently getting brave and letting go of whatever is stabilizing him as he is standing. He is occupying himself for short time periods. He and his Grampa Mike love his ball machine. Melody's mom, Grannie Sue is shown in the 2 final pictures.
Please keep my neice Andrea (Andy) and her family in your prayers. She has just started chemo. in Denver this past week.

Happy New Year! Pictures were slow to post because December is so busy. We enjoyed our first Christmas with Atticus. All of our children were able to come home. Following Christmas, Virginia went to Creede to spend a few days with her mom & family. They had lots of snow and cold temperatures. She almost missed an elk on her way home...damage was pretty minimal considering the size of the elk and the fact that she was going 55 mph. The metal refused to bend! It was -18 when she left Creede! In Kansas, the temperatures have warmed up considerably, for now... Atticus and Grandpa enjoyed a ride on the John Deere mower. We have a feeling there will be many more of those. Atticus loves being outside!
Here's a great Men's choir singing their version of the 12 days of Christmas on You tube! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Fe11OlMiz8
